I'm Annie. I'm from Minneapolis, and I am a Minnesotan through and through. Perhaps it's the frigid weather here that, in the style of a true multimedia artist, inspired me to wear many hats (ha).
I graduated with an individualized degree in Media Studies with a focus in Environmental Sociology. This combination was inspired by the broadness of the digital world, and my desire to understand and utilize its great power. This complexity is encompassed in my work, as I strive to tell honest stories, amplify underrepresented voices, and create stronger local and global digital communities.

I am also passionate about utilizing digital storytelling to tell more niche and personal narratives. Peoples' voices and stories can be preserved so beautifully and honestly through photos, videos, and recordings. I love capturing the beauty, truth, and joy in the minutiae of big occasions and day to day life alike.

When I'm not behind a camera or a computer, I love to be outside in my community, spending time with my favorite people and dogs, and watching movies (a looot of movies).
